JOURNEY THROUGH THE OCEAN WITH THE LATEST EXHIBIT SHALLOW SEAS!

Check out our newest exhibit, "Shallow Seas", the first exhibit fully designed and curated by the North Museum of Nature and Science. This new exhibit brings forward its cache of marine-based treasures for Shallow Seas. Highlighting animal and plant life found in the sunlit waters around the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans, the exhibit includes items that have not been displayed since the 1960s.

Any persons or families who hold an EBT/SNAP/ACCESS card will have free admission to the North Museum. We are very excited to have this opportunity to break down more barriers and allow more access for our wonderful community members! the EBT/SNAP/ACCESS card must be present to receive free admission.

CLOSED for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Planetarium tickets are not included with EBT/SNAP/ACCESS; however they are available for the combo price of $7 per person.

    Little Explorer and Me
    Little Explorer and Me is our program for preschool aged children and their caretakers. Come join us the last Wednesday of every month for an exciting morning of activities for your Little Explorer! Learn about science and build your child’s curiosity, skills, and knowledge through play. Each activity is designed to be something caretakers can easily replicate at home using mostly everyday materials.

    Spooky Science: Trick or Treat
    Grab your trick-or-treat bag, put on that awesome costume, and bring your curiosity! On Saturday, October 26th from 10am–5pm, the North Museum will transform with some spooky science! Come join us for some creepy chemistry, spooky slime making, Franken-Worms, and more! Each activity station will also be a candy station so that kids have a safe and “spooky” place to trick or treat. Make sure to wear your costume as we will be having a costume parade and contest!
